Love is the central thing and God is interested in loving one another. There are many verses in the Bible that back to loving God and one another. But we cannot say we love God when we do not love one another. When we love those we see, then we love God because human beings are the image of God.
1. Willing love
Love should be willing and should be part of us. It does not pain us. Let us love and all things that we do should be done in love because love is the pillar of all things. Read 1 Corinthians 16: 4.
2. Perfect love
Let your love be perfect and give glory to God only. Imperfect love cannot be rewarded by God. This is because God gave us perfect love to bring about perfect harmony. If we have perfect minds and perfect hearts for one another, it shows that we demonstrate perfect love. Read Colossians 3: 14; 1 John 4: 18.
3. Greater love
God showed us greater love. He gave us His son Jesus to die for us. No love is more than this. We too must show great love to one another. We should be ready to demonstrate genuine love to friends, neighbors, church members, coworkers, family members, and other people. Read John 3: 16; John 15: 13; John 4: 9-12; Romans 5: 8).
4. Love is a priority
Of all things, God cherishes so much is love. Your money, your possessions, your influence, your faith, your hope, your education, your intelligence, your academics, your morals, your services, and your charisma, to mention a few are not prioritized. The only thing that God rates the highest on the list is love. Read 1 Corinthians 13: 13.
5. Nature of love
Love is something we have to thirst for because of its nature. If we love one another in a family, the family will experience peace; if we love one another in a nation, the nation will experience peace and harmony, and so on. This is because the word “love” has beautiful and fine characteristics that make people behave well. Read 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7.
6. God is love
It is very important to demonstrate love because God Himself is love. When we love one another, we love God. The reason is that we are the image of God. You cannot say you love God you do not see when you do not love your neighbors you see. Let the love of God emerge and spread to everybody irrespective of age, tribe, color, etc. Read 1 John 4: 8.
7. Commanding love
One thing above all you need in all areas of your life is love. One thing we need in all our communities is love; one thing we need in our nations to put things in a normal way is love. Love covers all things! The problems we are confronting in our society today are a result of a lack of genuine love. That is why God commanded us to love and demonstrate it. Read 1 Peter 4: 8; John 15: 12-13; Ephesians 25: 26.
8. Sacrificial love
A sacrificial love is an unconditional love; a love without blemish or condition. This is the kind of love God demonstrates to us always. God does not request money or possessions before He loves the world. How much do you love people sacrificially? Is it not because of what you want to get from your colleagues, which is why you show love to him/her? Love without condition! Read 1 John 4: 16- 18; John 4: 19.
9. Remain in love
There is no limit to which love demonstration can be stopped or paused. Loving is a continuous process of work. If you have had an opportunity to love, do not stop or pause. Continue the good thing, even if the person you love does not appreciate it or return that love as you love the person, do not stop. Your rewards are in heaven. It is God that will pay you back. Read John 15: 9-10.
10. Steadfast Love
God expects you to remain in love. Love God and all people; do not deviate from it. Love God with all with all your hearts and souls. There is a reward for those who love God and people. Read Deuteronomy 7: 9; Psalm 86: 15.
11. Sincere love
All Christians must love without reservations. There should be unity and oneness in the group. Let us dislike any evil things and love what is good. The goodness exalts the nation. If you demonstrate love, your life, and society will move forward. Read Romans 12: 9.
12. Love is patient
If you say you love God and people but you are not patient with people, your love is not complete. The reason is that love itself is patient. If you are claiming that you love, you must be patient. It is what will demonstrate your loving God and people. Demonstrate your love through patience. Read 1 Corinthians 13: 4.
13. Love endures
The love of God endures forever. It does not fade away at all. Let us know this. The love of yesterday is the love of today and forevermore. Do not separate yourself from the love of God. He is there to see to your challenges and problems anytime you call on Him. Read 1 Corinthians 16: 34.
14. Love of God
The love of God is that great to the extent that when we were in sin, he still loved us. He did not want us to perish and He gave His only begotten Son which is Jesus Christ. There is no way you can compare the love of God with. God put us together with Christ and created good places for us. The good inheritance you can give to your friends is love. Read Ephesians 2: 4-5; Zephaniah 3: 17.
15. Everlasting love
Love should be eternal; it is not something that can be seen as temporary. The love of God over us is eternity. Love and let your love continue until eternity. Read Jeremiah 31: 3.
16. God abounds in love
It is in love that God lives. If you live with people and you demonstrate love, God is interested in those gatherings. Any society in which love emerges will invite God to stay there. If a nation can allow love to manifest, God will live in that nation. Let your heart, family, community, society, and nation live in love so that God can be the head there. Read Exodus 34: 6.
17. Love your enemies
God commands us to love our enemies. But one of the things that are difficult for us is to love those who hate us. We only love those who love us and fire for those who hate us or who are our enemies. We have to love our enemies because pray against the spirit of hatred in him or them. Read 1 John 4: 21; Luke 6: 36.
18. Unfailing love
No matter the storm and wind of life, the love of God will never fail. No matter the challenges and problems you are encountering in life, God’s love never fails. The word of God concerning your life is forever and it will come to pass. Read Psalm 143: 8.
19. Compassionate love
God is so compassionate that He loves everyone without bias. He takes care of us all and He nourishes us every time. He never forgets us even during tough times. That is the love of God. What you are going through now is a step to your breakthrough. God does not forget or deny you. He will have compassion for you. Read Isaiah 49: 15-16.
20. Love of Christ
The love of Christ is something we must thirst for always. Nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ. What we are experiencing now must not separate us from the love of Christ. This is because Jesus has taken care of everything that concerns you. You will soon overcome the challenges. Read Romans 8: 35-39.
21. Total love
Total love is to love one another. We cannot say we love God we have not seen when we do not love you neighbors you see. The perfect love is to love one another. When we love one another genuinely, we love God and God will always dwell in us. Read 1 John 4: 12.
22. Charitable love
Let us make sure that all we do; we do it charitably. Your love for people must not be a force but a willing heart. Your love is for everybody, not for certain people. Read 1 Corinthians 16: 14.
