Making money may not need serious prayers if we follow the principles of wealth and blessings. A lot of Christians think that only prayers have solved their problems or challenges of money scarcity. Financial breakthroughs may not come if you have not taken the necessary steps.
Principle 1: Work Hard.
Work is something that is done for daily living while hardworking is a way of doing something or finding something to do well and rapidly. It is an act of hating laziness or slothfulness. God frowns at lazy habits and sluggishness. The Bible says in Proverbs 12: 24, “Diligent hand will rule but laziness ends in forced labor.”
In Proverbs 10: 4, “Lazy hands make for poverty but diligent hands bring wealth.” This means that we must be diligent in all our work. The Bible also says in Proverbs 12: 11, “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.” Vs 15, “Laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless go hungry.”
The verses above teach that if we are hard-working, we should have food which means blessings and riches but lazy hands go hungry. In Proverbs 6: 6, God wants us to learn from ants that are very apt and laborious.
If ants can have such minds, how much more of man was made in His image? You can still read more Bible Verses that will open your eyes to the blessings, riches, and prosperity of God: Proverbs: 26:15; 13:4; 14:23; 79:15; 20:4; 6:6; Heb 10: 36; Gen 2: 15 and 2 Peter 1:5.
Everyone should understand that God blesses the things of our hands. Do you have work you are doing? Are you not lazy? Only those who work will be blessed and wealthy.
Principle 2: Create wealth.
You are expected to find a way you find financial solutions to people’s problems and work on that. Try to solve problems. Jesus Christ gave talents to the disciples to trade to see how they can multiply money.
We can see that two of them make profits and another one fails. If you can see far beyond your environment and create a business for yourself, wealth and blessings will surely come.
Principle 3: Give.
Giving is an act of providing money and other useful materials for someone or something, especially to a charity or other good cause. This principle works like magic because God commanded us to do that. The Bible says in Luke 6: 38, “Give, and it will be given to you.
A good measure, pressured down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” This is the simple way to understand the principle of God.
If you give, you will be given but if don’t give, you will not be given. It is only who gives and receives. In 2 Corinthians 9: 7, the Bible says, “Each should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Our giving attitude should always be willingly done, not under pressure or by force. That is what can be acceptable! Read more Bible Verses that will bless you richly: Mathew 19: 21; Mathew 6: 3-4; 2 Corinthians 9: 10; Proverbs 3: 9; 27; Luke 6: 30; Acts 20: 35; Luke 11: 13; Hebrew 13: 16; Mathew 10:8.
There are many people you can give such as the needy, poor, less privileged, orphans, men of God, beggars, and the like. Do you plan other people with your plans? Are you a giver? How much do you give? Only those who give can receive. There is no perfect prayer for riches if giving is left out.
Principle 4: Pay tithes and offerings.
A Tithe is a tenth part of the increase arising from the profits of any business or salary or money incurred whether daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. It is also a contribution to one’s religious community or congregation of worship while offerings are acts by which something is offered.
God wants everyone should bring all tithes to His house (Churches or worship places). Those who refuse this were under the curse of God because they robbed God. Let us read Malachi 3: 8-10 saying, “Will a mere mortal robs God? Yet you rob me.
But you ask, “How are we robbing you? In tithes and offerings; you are under a curse – your whole nation – because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
Test me if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it…” Tithes and offerings open the doors for riches, blessings, and prosperity.
Deuteronomy 12: 6 says, “There bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.” God also confirmed the reason why we need to bring our tithe and offerings and other things that belong to God.
Other Bible Verses that can enrich you on this are Numbers 15: 1-8; Leviticus 27: 30 and Deuteronomy 14: 22-24. Do you pay your tithes and offerings or do you exhaust all your income?
Those who eat tithe eat bitterness and they have put themselves under the bondage of curse. Automatically, you have shut the door of blessings and richness against yourself.
Principle 5: Redeem your vows.
A vow can be said as a solemn promise to do some acts or behave in a specific way. It is also a debt of something you promise. A person who makes vows must redeem them, or else that person has put himself or herself under a curse. God frowns at the person who fails to redeem vows.
Deuteronomy 23: 21-23 says, “If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin…” You should understand that if you promise someone something, whether in writing or speech, be sure that you promise God and it has become a vow (debt).
You must pat it. These are more Bible Verses to enrich you more: Numbers 30: 2-8; 10-15 Proverbs 1: 14; Psalms 66: 13. Do you promise people intentionally or accidentally? Have you promised God something?
This may be what has been hindering your blessings, wealth, and prosperity, It is a debt you must pay to unlock your blessings.
Principle 6: Obey the will of God.
Obedience is a way of serving God more. Do His will more and please Him more. God spoke in Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 the blessings that will follow those who always obey God.
The Bible says, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands that I gave you today, the Lord your God will set you above all the nations on earth…till 14. If you obey God and follow His instructions, blessings and wealth will come in.
Principle 7: See God as one who blesses.
Every principle we have discussed above is culled from this. Above all, you have to see God as He who provides wealth, blessings, and prosperity. You should believe Him that he has everything.
That is why He said in Deuteronomy 8: 18, “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors as it is today.”
These are Bible Verses that can enrich you: Genesis 22: 17; Exodus 23: 22; Psalms 5: 12; Jobs 1: 10; Haggai 2: 19; I Corinthians 3: 6-7; 2 Corinthians 6: 8; Ephesians 2: 4. Trust Him for riches and blessings, He will provide them.
