Therefore, teachers and leaders should make use of these stories to improve the teaching-learning process.  Nine interesting New Testament Bible Stories about the birth of Jesus Christ’s process and his mission have been worked.

1. Jesus Is Born

God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth. The angel greeted and said to Mary that she would have a son. The name of the son was Jesus. The son would be great. His Kingdom would never end. Mary was happy to hear that and the angel left her.

The angel also came to Joseph in a dream. The angel said that the baby that Mary would have was from the Holy Spirit. The angel told Joseph that he should take Mary and marry her. The angel told Joseph again he would name the baby Jesus after he was born. And the baby would save his people from their sins.

Joseph left Nazareth and went to Bethlehem in Judea. Joseph went to Jerusalem because he was from David’s family. Mary went with him to Bethlehem. Mary gave birth to Jesus at Bethlehem. There was no room in the inn. Mary dressed the baby in fine clothes and laid him on a bed of hay. (Luke 2: 1; 2: 3-20)

Lesson: Jesus Christ was born by Joseph and Mary. Mary and Joseph obeyed the angel’s message. We should obey God’s laws and our parents.

2. The Boy Jesus at the Temple

Jesus was twelve. Both Jesus and his parents went to Jerusalem for Passover. But Jesus stayed in the city. His parents thought he had traveled with other people.  At Jerusalem, they found Jesus in the temple after three days. He was busy listening to the teachers. Jesus’ parents got there and they were surprised. His parents said they had been looking for him. Jesus replied that they should stop looking for him because he was in his father’s house. His parents took Jesus back to Nazareth. He obeyed them. God was pleased with Jesus and he was wise and strong in the Lord. (Luke 2: 41-52)

Lesson: Jesus loved to learn to teach. We should be ready to learn the word of God.

God told John in the desert to baptize people. He went to the Jordan Valley and the crowds were there. John preached forgiveness and baptized them in the river. Jesus went to the river Jordan from Galilee. Jesus said that John should baptize him.

Then Jesus was baptized. When he came out of the river, heaven opened. There was a voice from heaven coming down and said, “This is my beloved Son, and I am pleased with him.” (Mathew 4: 1-11)

Jesus went up and sat down on the other side of the mountain. The crowds are many. His disciples came around him. He began to teach them.  He said God blessed the people who depended on him only because they depended on the Kingdom of Heaven.

God blesses the humble people the earth will belong to them. God blesses the people who want to obey him more than to eat or drink; they will be given what they want. God blesses the merciful people; they will be treated with mercy.

God blesses the people whose hearts are pure; they will see God. God blesses the people who make peace; they will be called children of God. God blesses the people who are treated badly for doing right; they belong to the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus finished that God would bless us when people insulted us, mistreated us, and told all kinds of evil lies about us because of Him. (Mathew 5: 1-22)

Lesson: We should be happy and excited because we would have a great reward in heaven.

6. Ask, search, and knock

Jesus teaches us to ask so that we can receive from God. We should search so that we can find and we should knock so that the doors can be opened for us. If we ask, we shall receive. If we search, we shall find.  God loves us all that he will give us the good things we need.

God cannot give us bad things. What we have to do is to ask what we need, and God will give us. We have to search, God will make us find and we have to knock, God will open the doors for us. (Mathew 7: 7-12)

Lesson: Do as you want people to do to you.

Jesus answered the Bible said that no one could live with only food. People needed every word that God had spoken. The devil also took Jesus to the holy city.  He said he should stand on the highest part of the temple. The devil said that if he was the Son of God he should jump off.

Jesus answered, the Bible also that no one should test the Lord your God! The devil finally took Jesus up on a very high mountain. He said to him that he would give all those to him if he would bow down and worshipped him.

Jesus answered and said to Satan that he should go away from Satan and worship the Lord his God and serve only him. When the devil left Jesus, the angels came to help Jesus. (Mathew 4: 1-11)
