Prayer is indeed the key. Prayers for righteousness and holiness should be the ones we should give priority to all the time. The reason is that with righteousness, there is no one that will see God. Only a righteous and holy person will climb the mountain of the Lord (Psalm 24). Living a holy life is like living an acceptable life. There are 30 serious prayer points to be righteous and holy.
Prayer Point 1
God, You are holy and righteous. Open the gates of Your presence to us today as we pray. (Psalm 118: 19-20). Lift your heads O gates. Lord, grant us the discipline of maintaining righteousness that can come into Your presence (Isaiah 26: 2).
Prayer Point 2
We praise You Oh holy God with new songs. Grant us the discipline of godliness, so that our songs may be new and acceptable to You (Psalm 149: 1; 30: 4; 99: 9).
Prayer Point 3
We confess the sins of the church, families, and individuals. We have gone astray in our hearts and have not known Your ways nor entered your rest (Hebrews 3: 10-11). Oh, forgive us so we can ascend the hill of the Lord with clean and pure hearts (Psalm 24: 3-5). So we can be blameless and do what is right, and speak the truth from our hearts (Psalm 15: 1-2).

We repent on behalf of our ministers. Some of them have trampled down Your portion (Jeremiah 12: 10). Lord, forgive us. We also confess our covetousness and ignorant jealousy of the wicked whose end is bitter (Ecclesiastes 8: 10).

Father, grant our ministers the grace to be faithful to You by taking care of Your flock. Deliver them from all afflictions of the spirit of unfaithfulness (Acts 20: 28).

O Lord, help us to preserve in persecution. We bind every filthy spirit of charms and idolatry that wants to take advantage of the persecutions of the church by Muslim fundamentalists and violent Fulani herdsmen, etc. to seduce the church to source for alternative help (Mathew 5: 11-12).

Father, we bind every unrighteous spirit of sins who want to render the light and salt of the church ineffective (Mathew 5: 13-15).

O Lord, equip us with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, etc. Empower us to wear our spiritual armor with consistent discipline as holy warriors (Ephesians 6: 14).

Father, give us faith to pursue holiness, sustain clear conscience, remain pure, and be fit for good works (Titus 1: 15-16).

Help us to sustain the discipline needed for You to build us into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, and to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
